MuseON

MuseON is an interactive cultural edutainment series for children aged 4–10 that introduces world art, music, and cultural history through immersive live experiences.
Designed for international family audiences in Dubai, the project combines elements of:
  • museum-style storytelling and guided exploration,
  • live music performance,
  • visual media and projection,
  • hands-on creative workshops,
  • and interactive movement-based participation.
Each session focuses on a different cultural and historical milestone — from the Ancient World and the Middle Ages to Eastern artistic traditions and contemporary art — helping children discover how cultures, artistic languages, and historical periods are interconnected.
Rather than presenting culture as a static academic subject, MuseON creates a living, sensory experience where children can listen, observe, discuss, move, and create. Participants are invited not only to learn about artistic traditions, but to engage with them directly through sound, imagery, rhythm, storytelling, and making.
Dubai offers a uniquely international environment where families live alongside cultures, languages, and traditions from all over the world. MuseON is inspired by this multicultural landscape and aims to help children experience cultural diversity not as an abstract concept, but as something vibrant, human, and emotionally engaging.
By introducing children to artistic traditions from different parts of the world at an early age, the project encourages curiosity, empathy, openness, and intercultural understanding — qualities that are increasingly important for the next generation growing up in a global city.
The project is developed in English for Dubai’s multicultural environment and seeks to make world culture accessible to children from different backgrounds through an inclusive and playful format.
Sessions may include:
  • live performances by musicians,
  • projected visual materials and artworks,
  • interactive narration,
  • collaborative creative tasks,
  • movement and rhythm exercises,
  • and simple artistic experiments adapted for young audiences.
MuseON is created by Julia Dembich — a cultural producer, musicologist, pianist, concert host, and journalist working in the Russian cultural sector since 2009. After relocating to Dubai in 2024, she began developing new international family-oriented cultural formats for UAE audiences.
The project is developed in collaboration with Russian art educators, museum professionals, and interdisciplinary practitioners specialising in children’s educational and edutainment experiences at the intersection of culture, creativity, and participation.
MuseON aims to contribute to Dubai’s growing creative ecosystem by offering accessible cultural programming for families, supporting intercultural dialogue, and creating new ways for young audiences to experience art beyond traditional educational formats.
